Slothapalooza is a three-day extravaganza celebrating Wilmington’s giant sloth while supporting The Cape Fear Museum. Day One, at Flying Machine Brewery, features sloth trivia, prizes, and experts from the museum to answer all your Giant Sloth questions. Day Two, at Pomegranate Books welcomes Alan Rauch, author of the fun and informative book, “Sloth”, along with a selection of “sloth mocktails”. Day Three gets the little ones involved, with a story time reading of the delightful book, Sparky! about a girl and her pet sloth.

Day 1 Oct 17 5pm-7pm Sloth Celebration Flying Machine 3130 Randall Parkway (adjacent to our giant sloth’s last known home)

Day 2 Oct 18 7pm Pomegranate Books An evening with Dr Alan Rauch, UNC-Charlotte, author of “Sloth” with sloth “mocktails”.
