Rory Laverty (“Aluminum Alley”) once again brings to life a little known but important episode in World War II history. Laverty follows Sgt Roy Matsumoto, a Japanese American, from the internment camps in the U.S. to the jungles of Burma, where, as translator, he supported fellow U.S. soldiers.
