Rhode Island author, educator, professional actor, and arts-in-healing advocate Gloria Crist is returning to Wilmington for a special book signing and community conversation at Pomegranate Books, featuring her debut children’s book, Mama Oak and the Seasons of Grief. This event at Pomegranate Books will include a reading, book signing, and conversation with Crist about the inspiration behind Mama Oak and the role that art and nature can play when children are experiencing grief. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to DREAMS.
